Happy Valentine's day to our true love: JOVANI!

Happy Valentine's day to our true love: JOVANI!
How did my love of Jovani dresses start? Well... it was love at first sight. It was 2008 and I was entering the Miss Wales competition and I had been trawling the internet for THE dress and one brand that kept drawing my eye was the one that had the best dresses - the ones with the beading, the trains, the pizzaz, the glamour, the stand out WOW factor that you see on the red carpet... this brand was called Jovani and this brand was aaaaaall me!
I chose a beautiful silver couture beaded lace gown for the event and it became my most cherished pageant gown!
I quit my part time job at the bar I worked in while studying Classics at University telling my boss quite firmly (although not believing it at all) "I'm going to start a dress shop!".
Fast forward just a few years and I had started a small dress business from nothing and knew exactly which brand I wanted to stock. To my utter delight I was accepted as a Jovani stockist!!! And the first customer I had for my Jovani dresses were the Miss Wales contestants ofcourse. I was over the moon when my customer Sara Manchipp won the Miss Wales competition in her gold Jovani dress when I was only a few months into starting my business.
Soon, the press became interested in my story which was a story about a small town girl working hard to make a success of herself. For the photos I posed with a beautiful dress featuring rose appliques by Jovani....
Fast forward just a few months and I was (gulp!) meeting Jovani in London to choose some stock and meet Abraham Maslavi himself. Could this be real?! I had somehow managed to start my little store in my hometown of Swansea and I was a Jovani retailer in fact THE Jovani retailer for Wales! There is obviously a massive back story here as to how this came about but the point is I MADE it I was in the Jovani showroom!!! Here's a pic of my manager Rhianedd with Mr Maslavi:
We chose some beautiful gowns that day and I came away more determined than ever that me and Jovani... well we were just meant to be! The packed rails just about made me swoon!
I was absolutely delighted when Jovani gave us an award to commend us for our loyalty to the brand. It is proudly on display in our store.
Soon, we were winning awards for our store. I chose for these events to always wear Jovani. I dressed my entire team in Jovani too! How could I not? Here's my gal Rachel in Jovani 31100 in red, and Britt in the infamous 171100 in grey ... we won the best independent retailer award and our staff member Katie won best dressed in the entire event in her Navy Jovani dress! I'm in the black by the way!
So where is our relationship going? Well I think we have a road trip planned together for 2018 to view the latest collections together in Atlanta USA again. I'm always getting spoiled by Jovani we are perfect for each other.
Happy Valentine's day to my perfect Jovani xxx
